Astigmatism correction

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá především korekcí astigmatismu. V první části práce je astigmatismus zmíněn z pohledu refrakční vady jakož-to celku. Součástí je i etiologie astigmatismu. Následuje nastínění průběhu vyšetření astigmatického pacienta. Největší důraz je zde kladen na podání informací o jednotlivých metodách korekce. V Práce dále obsahuje popis korekce za pomoci brýlových skel, kontaktních čoček a refrakční chirurgie. Každá z těchto metod je podrobněji rozebrána, přičemž součástí těchto rozborů jsou jednotlivé možnosti korekce. Závěr práce je věnován chirurgické korekci keratokonu.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis mainly deals with the correction of astigmatism. In the first part of the thesis there is astigmatism mentioned in term sof refractive error as a whole. It also includes the etiology of astigmatism. Then the checkup of astigmatic patiens is outlined. The main emphasis is put on the submission of information about the various methods of correction. Thesis further contains a description of the correction with spectacle lenses, contact lenses and refractive surgery. Each of these methods is more detailed analyzed while each method of the correction is part of these analyzes. Conclusion of this thesis are devoted to the surgical correction of keratoconus.
