Methods of modeling discrete state space stochastic systems focused on energetics

Abstract:

Disertační práce se zabývá vytvořením metodiky pro modelování stochastických systémů diskrétních v úrovni a její aplikací na problémy spojené s energetikou. Tato práce byla motivována potřebou vytvoření takovýchto modelů pro řešení úloh v rámci projektů Centra aplikované kybernetiky se společností ČEPS a. s. V rámci těchto úloh bylo potřeba modelovat systémy s diskrétními atributy a provádět nad těmito modely další výpočty a analýzy. V disertační práci byl vytvořen model těchto systémů, který se skládá z modelu změn hodnot atributu a modelu časovaní. Výhodou je možnost nezávislého navržení obou dílčích modelů. Pro modely časované pomocí fázových rozdělení jsou v práci vyřešeny úlohy predikce setrvání na pozorované hladině a predikce budoucí hodnoty diskrétního atributu. Dostatečně obecným fázovým rozdělením pro model časovače je Coxovo rozdělení. V práci je navržen algoritmus pro identifikaci parametrů tohoto rozdělení. Tento algoritmus je srovnán s algoritmem G-Fit, který identifikuje parametry hyper-Erlangovo rozdělení. Výsledky aproximace na testovacích souborech dat jsou srovnatelné, ale v práci navržený algoritmus je výpočetně výrazně efektivnější. Metodika a v práci navržené algoritmy jsou demonstrovány na dvou případových studiích. Oba tyto případy byly vytvořeny při řešení projektů CAK.

Abstract:

The topics of this thesis are a methodology for modeling discrete state space stochastic systems and its application to energetics. This work was motivated by problems that are solved as a part of the project Center of Applied Cybernetics, mainly the CEPS a.s. suggestions. There were created models of systems, that are used for further calculations and analysis, to solve these problems. A~model of stochastic discrete state space systems is divided into two models: the model changes of attribute values and the timing model. The advantage is the possibility of partial design of both models independently. For models with timed phase distribution are concretely solved problems remain in the prediction of the observed levels and prediction of future values of discrete attributes. Cox distribution is a sufficiently general of the distribution phase distribution. The new algorithm estimating the parameters of Cox distribution is designed in this word. This algorithm is compared with G-Fit algorithm that identifies the parameters of the hyper-Erlang distribution. Approximation results on the test data sets are comparable but the proposed algorithm is time consuming more efficient. The methodology and proposed algorithms are demonstrated on two case studies. Both of these cases were created to solve CAK projects.
