Entrance exam as the school stress situation and their reflection of students at 2nd grade the particular elementary school

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na období adolescence a zátěžových situacích, které tuto fázi vývoje provázejí. Práce podává všeobecnou charakteristiku žáků na 2. stupni základní školy, které čekají přijímací zkoušky na školy střední. V souvislosti se zátěžovými situacemi je také nezbytné objasnit obecné pojmy jako stres, zátěž, stresor nebo coping. Vymezím příčíny a důsledky stresu a přijímací zkoušky jako stresový faktor. Budu především zkoumat stres u žáků na základní škole před přechodem na školu střední. Zaměřím se na chlapce a dívky v sedmém a devátém ročníku na základních školách. Svůj výzkum rozšířím o výsledky na škole ve městě a na venkově. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda je přijímací řízení pro žáky stresová zátěž a zda je příprava žáků ke zkouškám adekvátní. Zaměřím se na motivaci dětí ke vzdělání, na cíle žáků a na jejich přípravu i výběr školy. Popíšu, jak se děti staví k výběru střední školy a jak moc jsou v tomto období stresovány, ať už ze strany rodičů nebo na základní škole. Výzkum se rovněž zaměřuje na rozdíly žáků na základní škole ve městě a na venkově. K získání potřebných dat bylo použito dotazníkových metod a stanovení hypotéz. Na závěr se budu zabývat shrnutím výsledků a uvedu klady a zápory výzkumu.

Abstract:

The master thesis discusses about period of adolescence and stressful situations, that this period of evolution. Work provides general characteristics of pupils at the second grade of elementary school that await the entrance exams for secondary schools. In the context of stressful situations it is also necessary to clarify the general concepts such as stress, stress factor or coping. I will define the causes and consequences of stress and entrance exam as a stress factor. I will particularly examine the stress among elementary school students before moving on to high school. I will focus on boys and girls in the seventh and ninth grade in elementary schools. My own research will extended about the results of the school in the city and countryside. The aim is to determine, whether are entrance exams the stress load for students and whether it is preparing students for exams is adequate. I will focus on motivating children to education, goals of the pupils and their preparation and school choice. I describe how children deal to choice high school and how much they are in this period of in stress, whether by parents or by elementary school. Research also focuses on the differences of elementary school pupils in the city and countryside. For obtain to the necessary data were used questionnaire methods and hypotheses. Finally, I will deal with summary of the results and bring the positives and negatives of research.
