ASIT applied to Blue Ocean

Abstract:

Blue Ocean strategy is a difficult concept to apply in practice. The biggest problems among all are: How to find Blue Ocean ? How to structure the research for Blue Ocean? In this thesis we will investigate the possibility to combine BOS framework with the Advance Systemic Innovation Thinking (ASIT). The specific aims of this thesis are: To define an ideation process combining BOS framework with ASIT (this will be done in the conceptualization part of this thesis just after the literature review) Assess the efficiency of this process. To do so we will first review formers Blue Ocean. We will analyze which proportion of former Blue Oceans could have been found using ASIT. Secondly we will try to find a new Blue Ocean while applying ASIT framework. This will be the topic of the practical part of the thesis.
