Táto práca sa zaoberá problémom vychystávania objednávok na viacerých poschodiach. Denne sa v skladoch spracovávajú desiatky tisíc objednávok, z ktorých každá pozostáva z viacerých produktov. Efektívne zoskupovanie týchto objednávok na spoločné plnenie je kľúčové pre získanie konkurenčnej výhody a pre minimalizáciu zdrojov. This thesis addresses the multi-floor order-picking problem. On a daily basis, warehouses handle tens of thousands of orders, each consisting of multiple products.
