The understanding of freedom in the Arthur Schopenhauer philosophy

Abstract:

Jak rozumět pojmu svobody, je pravděpodobně jeden z největších problému duchovního světa. Jednotlivé filozofické směry ho řeší odlišně. Dějinám rozdílného pojetí svobody se budeme věnovat v první kapitole. Naše práce bude mít za cíl obohatit současnou duchovní kulturu a to tím že vysvětlíme pojem svobody, tak jak ho myslel ve své filozofii Arthur Schopenhauer. Životopis Arthura Schopenhauera bude součásti druhé kapitoly. Bez znalosti osoby tohoto filozofa, nelze pochopit charakter jeho filozofie ani jeho pojetí svobody. Ve třetí kapitole přiblížíme Schopenhauerovu voluntaristickou filozofii. Definujeme pojem vůle a vysvětlíme v jaké spojitosti je se svobodou člověka. Předpokládáme, že lidé chtějí žít svobodně, víme ale co svoboda znamená? Tuto otázku se budeme snažit zodpovědět ve čtvrté kapitole a to ve spojitosti s filozofií Arthura Schopenhauera. Dále chceme upozornit na důležitost svobody pro lidský život a důležitost reflexe zda je nám dána přirozeně nebo je naopak zcela nepřirozená.

Abstract:

How to understand to concept of a freedom, is propably one of the biggest problem of a spiritual world. Individual philosophical ways solve it differently. In the first chapter we are going to concern with history of a different concept of the freedom. Our work will aim to enhance contemporary spiritual culture and that by way of an explanation of the concept of the freedom, as it thought Arthur Shopenhauer in his philosophy. Biography of the Arthur Schopenenhauer will be a part of the second chapter. Without knowledge of that person, you can´t understand character of his philosophy nor his concept of the freedom. We are going to describe Schopenhauer´s voluntaristic philosophy in the the third chapter. We are going to define the conception of will and describe in what continuity is the freedom of human. We assume that people want to live freely, but do we know what the freedom mean ? We are going to answer this question in the fourth chapter in continuity with the philosophy of the Arthur Schopenhauer. Furthermore we want to point out an importance of the freedom for the human life and the importance of a reflection, whether is it given to us naturally or vice versa completely unnatural.
