Amand Pohler and his walks "Rund um den Spielberg"

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the book collection of feuilletons „Rund um den Spielberg“ (1898) by Amand Pohler, an actor and director in the theatre industry from Vienna. The subject of this thesis is to compare the collection in the contextual factor of time and genre and to analyse Pohler´s style, so that we can reflect upon it, if it can still be adressed to todays readers.

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá fejetonistickou sbírkou „Rund um den Spielberg“ (1898) od Amanda Pohlera, původem vídeňského divadelníka. Předmětem práce je porovnat sbírku v kontextu doby a žánru, analyzovat Pohlerův styl a zamyslet se, zda by oslovila čtenáře i dnes.
