Comparison of methods for sensory dominance measurement

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou oční dominance a jejího určování konven-čními a moderními metodami, přičemž se zaměřuje především na senzorickou do-minanci. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a výzkumnou část. V teoretické části je popsána anatomie a fyziologie zrakové dráhy, poté se zabývá fyziologií a patologií binokulárního vidění. Následně jsou popsány jednotlivé druhy oční dominance, me-tody jejich určení a využití. Výzkumná část se zaměřuje na porovnání jednotlivých metod zjišťování oční dominance a dále se zabývá okolnostmi, které mohou testová-ní dominance ovlivňovat.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the eye dominance and the conventional and modern ways of its determination, while mainly addressing the sensory eye dominance. The thesis is devided into two parts: the theoretical one and the research. The theoretical part covers a description of anatomy and physiology of the optical pathway and physiology and pathology of binocular vision. Afterwards, individual types of eye dominance, the methods of its determination and the use cases are discussed. The research focuses on comparison of particular methods of eye dominance determina-tion and also copes with circumstances, that may affect the eye dominance testing.
