Tectonics of the central part of Chřiby Hills (Outer Carpathian flysh)

Abstract:

Práce předkládá podrobný soubor tektonických údajů o studovaném území, které je situováno v nejzápadnějším výběžku račanské jednotky a je součástí střední části Chřibů. Data byla zpracována metodami orientační a paleonapjatostní analýzy. Byly vyhodnocovány orientace puklin, vrstevnatosti, zlomových ploch a jejich rýhování. Též byly vymezeny jednotlivé deformační fáze a určena hlavní normálová napětí. Po vyhodnocení dat byla porovnána orientace vrstevnatosti a její charakter s již známými údaji a výsledkem byla shoda těchto souborů. Bylo zjištěno, že převládající směr orientace puklin je souhlasný s přednostní orientací zlomů. Na základě orientace hlavních normálových napětí byly vyčleněny 3 skupiny napjatosti

Abstract:

Work submits detailed file of tectonic data about studied area that is situated at the most western hook of Rača Unit in the central part of Chřiby Hills. Data were worked up by methods of orientation and paleostress analysis. The orientations of joints, bedding surfaces, fault planes and their striation were plotted. Deformation phases were delimitated and main referential stresses were estimated. After evaluation of data, the orientation of bedding and their character were compared with already known data and the two data sets were found in conformity. The dominant direction of joints is in consistency with preferred orientation of faults. Base on orientation of principal stresses, three groups of stress states were described.
