Tato bakalářská práce seznamuje čtenáře se schopnostmi českých herců mluvit anglicky s výslovností rodilých mluvčích. Čeští herci většinou ztvárňují postavy, pro které angličtina není mateřským jazykem. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda jsou takto obsazováni kvůli přízvuku, kterého se nedokážou zbavit. Abstract:
This bachelor’s thesis acquaints its reader with the Czech actors’ skill pronouncing their lines in English-speaking films and interviews. The actors mostly portray characters whose first languages are not the English language. The thesis aspires to find out if that is because of accents which the actors cannot improve.
