Relationship between human populations and their skeletal remains: the origin of skeletal samples

Abstract:

Vznik kosterních souborů je podmíněn biologickou smrtí jednice a tedy ovlivněn celým komplexem demografických, kulturních, fyzicko-geografických a samozřejmě i ekologických faktorů. Jedná se o dlouhodobý proces, na jehož konci je kosterní soubor. Výsledné složení kosterního souboru je přímo závislé na faktorech, které na něj v jednotlivých fázích procesu působí. Jedná se o jakousi soustavu filtru, které v různých fázích propouštějí pouze část z původního celku. Pro účely této práce se zaměřím pouze na ty faktory, které jsou podstatné pro vznik kosterních souborů a souvisí s přístupem populace k souboru mrtvých. Tedy zejména na faktory demografické a kulturní - související s pohřebním ritem. K tomu je však nutné podotknout, že i tyto faktory jsou přímo závislé na fyzicko-geografických faktorech a zároveň podléhají socio-kulturním změnám v průběhu času.

Abstract:

The origin of skeletal sample is subject to biological death of man and thus affected the whole complex demographic, cultural, physical-geographical and ecological factors of course. This is a long-term process, at the end of the skeletal file. The resulting composition of skeletal file is directly dependent on the factors that influence it in various phases process works. It is a kind of filter, which at different stages are released only a portion of the main unit. On the purposes of this paper will focus only on those factors that are essential for the formation of skeletal and files related to the access of the population to file the dead. So especially on demographic and cultural factors related to the funeral rites. This is however to be noted that these factors are directly related to the physical-geographical factors and are subject to a socio-cultural changes-us over time.
