Sophokles´ Antigone reflected in the philosophy of 20th century

Abstract:

V bakalářské práci je představena literární látka s mytologickými kořeny, která líčí osud Oidipovy dcery Antigony a její reflexi zpracovanou v textech myslitelů dvacátého století. Práce popisuje původní Sofoklovo zpracování tragédie Antigoné, které bylo inspirací a východiskem filosofům, jejichž rozbor textů byl v práci prováděn. Analyzovanými texty v bakalářské práci, které souvisejí s tématem, byly texty českého filosofa Jana Patočky, americké filosofky Marthy Craven Nussbumové a českého filosofa Karla Kosíka. Cílem práce bylo nalezení odpovědí na otázky, jakým způsobem uchopili téma Antigoné uvedení myslitelé, co bylo záměrem jejich zkoumání, postihnout úsudky, tvrzení, rozdílnost přístupů a vyvozených závěrů vztahujících se k dramatu Antigoné a postav jednajících v něm.

Abstract:

In my bachelor work there is introduced a literary theme with mythological roots, that describes the fate of Oedipus' daughter Antigone and its reflection elaborated in the texts of the scholars / philosophers of the twentieth century. As first the work describes the original Sofocles' arrangement of the tragedy Antigoné, which became inspiration and base for philosophers, whose texts were analysed in this work. The analysed texts in the work connected with the theme were the texts of the Czech philosopher Jan Patočka, the American philosopher Martha Craven Nussbaum and the Czech philosopher Karel Kosík. The aim of the work was to find answers to questions on how the mentioned scholars grasped the theme of Antigoné, what was intention of their investigation, to understand their opinions, statements, difference of approaches a The presented philosophers took the different approaches to the theme of Sofocles' Antigoné.
