Comparison of selected Indicators of Healthy Cities

Abstract:

Zdravá města České republiky svými dlouhodobými procesy a opatřeními usilují o to, aby jejich město bylo trvale udržitelné. Pro systematický postup k udržitelnému rozvoji na místní úrovni využívají nástroje místní Agendy 21, tento proces rozvoje města vyhodnocují pomocí měření indikátorů udržitelného rozvoje. Práce se zabývá komparací indikátorů vybraných Zdravých měst ČR a otázkou, zda je systém monitorování indikátorů udržitelného rozvoje Zdravými městy ČR ucelený a systematický a jaké jsou bariéry při jejich sledování. Důležitým ukazatelem toho, jak města realizují místní Agendu 21, je Společný evropský indikátor A1 Spokojenost obyvatel s místním společenstvím. Další část práce je věnována analýze spokojenosti obyvatel s městem, ve kterém žijí.

Abstract:

Healthy cities of the Czech republic with its long-term processes and measures strive to ensure that their city is sustainable. These cities are using tools of Local Agenda 21 for a systematic approach to sustainable development at the local level and their progress is evaluated based on measurement of indicators of sustainable development. This thesis deals with the comparison of indicators of selected Healthy cities, the question whether is the system of monitoring indicators of sustainable development of Healthy Cities comprehensive and systematic, and what are the barriers of its monitoring. An important indicator of how cities implement Local Agenda 21, the European common indicator A1 satisfaction with the local community. Another part is devoted to analysis of public satisfaction with the city.
