Domestic violence against women, battered women's syndrome

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje problematice domácího násilí páchané na ženách a syndromu týrané ženy. Cílem práce je zjištění nedostatků společnosti ve vztahu k obětem domácího násilí a nalezení účinných a efektivních nástrojů eliminace domácího násilí na ženách. Úvodem se zaměřuji na definici a vymezení základních pojmů spojené s domácím násilím. Větší pozornost je věnována násilným osobám v rámci domácího násilí včetně jeho účastníků, tedy pachatelům a obětem. V neposlední řadě zde nalezneme právní rámec ochrany před domácím násilím v České republice a jakou úlohu hraje Policie ČR a intervenční centra v pomoci obětem domácího násilí včetně diagnostické metody SARA DN, jejichž úloha je nejen důležitá, ale také nepostradatelná. Součástí práce jsou také případové studie skutečných žen, které se staly oběťmi domácího násilí a jejich následné stručné zhodnocení. Případové studie mají pouze ilustrativní charakter, nejedná o se výzkum. Při vypracování práce bylo vycházeno ze studia literatury a textů věnující se příslušné problematice, internetových odkazů, zákonů České republiky a metodických pokynů. Ze zhodnocení dosažených výsledků lze konstatovat, že je potřeba větší zapojení veřejnosti do prevence a řešení problematiky domácího násilí a zvýšení její informovanosti. A také nadále vyvíjet snahu o změnu mýtů o postavení ženy ve společnosti.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the issue of domestic violence against women and battered women's syndrome. The work reveals the shortcomings of society in relation to victims of domestic violence and identify effective tools and elimination of domestic violence against women. It begins with a focus on the definition and the definition of basic concepts related to domestic violence. Attention is given to person influenced by domestic violence participants, perpetrators and victims. Finally, we find the legal framework for protection against domestic violence in the Czech Republic and the role played by police and intervention centers to help victims of domestic violence, including diagnostic methods SARA DN, whose role is not only important but also indispensable. Later in thesis I discussed case studies of women who are victims of domestic violence and we can evaluate theirs opinion. The case studies are illustrative only, not the research. In preparing the work was going out of literature and texts dealing with the issues, web links, Czech Republic laws and guidelines. From the evaluation of the results it can be stated that there is a need for greater public involvement in the prevention and solution of the problem of domestic violence and increase its awareness. And also continue its efforts to change the myths about the position of women in society.
