Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje analýze potenciálu expanze společnosti Škoda Auto a.s. navietnamský trh. Cílem práce je posoudit příležitosti a rizika spojená se vstupem na tentorychle se rozvíjející trh a identifikovat strategie, které by mohly podpořit úspěšnouexpanzi. V teoretické části jsou představeny klíčové koncepty mezinárodního obchodu amodely vstupu na zahraniční trhy. Praktická část práce je zaměřena na prováděnídetailního průzkumu trhu a analýzu konkurence ve Vietnamu. Zahrnuje sběr a analýzuprimárních a sekundárních dat, která poskytují vhled do tržního prostředí, preferencevietnamských spotřebitelů a aktivity hlavních konkurentů. Na základě shromážděnýchdat a provedené analýzy práce konstatuje, že vietnamský automobilový trh nabízívýznamné příležitosti pro Škoda Auto díky rostoucí poptávce po osobních automobilech,zvyšující se kupní síle obyvatelstva a podpoře vlády pro automobilový průmysl. Nicméně,práce také upozorňuje na výzvy, jako jsou silná konkurence, regulativní bariéry a kulturnírozdíly. V závěru jsou doporučeny specifické strategie pro vstup na trh, včetněstrategických partnerství, lokalizace produktů a intenzivní marketingové komunikace.

Abstract:

This bachelor’s thesis aims to analyze the potential for Škoda Auto a.s. in the Vietnamesemarket. The objective is to evaluate the opportunities and risks associated with enteringthis fast-growing market and to identify strategies that could support successfulexpansion. The theoretical part presents key concepts of international trade and modelsof entry into foreign markets. The practical part focuses on conducting a detailed marketresearch and competition analysis in Vietnam. It includes collecting and analyzingprimary and secondary data, which offer insights into the market environment, thepreferences of Vietnamese consumers, and the activities of key competitors. Based onthe collected data and analysis, the thesis concludes that the Vietnamese automotivemarket offers significant opportunities for Škoda Auto due to the growing demand forpassenger cars, increasing purchasing power of the population, and government supportfor the automotive industry. However, the thesis also highlights challenges such as strongcompetition, regulatory barriers, and cultural differences. Finally, specific market entrystrategies are recommended, including strategic partnerships, product localization, andintensive marketing communication.
