Abstract:
Cílem této bakalářské práce je zobrazit postavení ženy v anglické gotické fikci, konkrétně v románech The Castle of Otranto a Frankenstein. Dále si práce klade za cíl určit, jakou roli v zobrazení ženy hraje genderová identita autorů těchto románů.
Abstract:
The objective of this thesis is to examine the status of a woman in English Gothic fiction, in particular The Castle of Otranto and Frankenstein, and to determine what role the gender identity of the author plays in shaping the issue.
