Glaciers in Europe and their changes

Abstract:

Předložená bakalářská práce reaguje na aktuální stav výzkumu v oblasti klimatických změn odrážejících se v chování současných ledovců. Zabývá se vznikem a postupným vývojem ledovců za dané časové období ve vybraných státech severní, střední a jižní Evropy. Konkrétnější zaměření je na ledovce v Norsku, Islandu, Rakousku, Itálii a Španělsku, které jsou porovnávány prostřednictvím dat získaných z řady našich i zahraničních zdrojů. Následně je provedeno syntetické zhodnocení. Výsledkem jsou grafy, tabulky, syntetické závěry z nich vyplývající.

Abstract:

This work reacts to the present state of research in the field of climatic changes which are reflected in the behaviour of present glaciers. It deals with the formations and gradual development of glaciers during a set time period in chosen states of northern, central and southern Europe. More specifically the work is aimed at glaciers in Norway, Iceland, Austria, Italy and Spain, which are compared according to data obtained from a whole range of both Czech and foreign sources. Afterwards a synthetic survey is made. The result of this are diagrams, charts and the shown synthetic conclusions.
