Diplomová práce se zabývá životem a dílem Marie Stejskalové (1862-1928), dlouholeté učitelky a budovatelky Moravské ústřední Útulny ženské v Brně. Práce sleduje osudy M. Stejskalové od jejího narození a dětství, přes vzdělání a učitelské působení na mnoha německých a jedné české škole na Moravě, až po působení v Moravské ústřední Útulně ženské v Brně a její smrt. Abstract:
This thesis deals with the life and work of Marie Stejskalová (1862- 1928), long-time teacher and co-founder of the Moravian central women´s shelter in Brno. The thesis traces the fate of M. Stejskalová from her birth and childhood, through education and teacher activity on many German and one Czech schools in Moravia, to activity in the Moravian central women´s shelter in Brno and her death.
