Abstract:
The work deals with the problem of legal regulation of takeover bids and it concerns with problems connected with implementation of the European Takeovers Directive in Czech law. Implementation of the Directive raised some new challenges for the Czech system of regulation but also afforded an opportunity for us to look afresh at the way in which it operates.
