Abstract:
The bacterial strains Curtobacterium oceanisedimentum and Viridibacillus arvi were incubated at different C/N ratios together with Sphingomonas desiccabilis as positive control. The Biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) was measured, the EPS quantified, the cells differentially stained and observed under a bright-field microscope, and the CFU ml-1 was determined.Abstract:
