Abstract:
14‑3‑3 proteiny interagují se stovky regulačních proteinů v eukaryotických organismech, čímž se podílejí na důležitých procesech zahrnujících kontrolu buněčného cyklu a signálních drah. Funkce 14‑3‑3 proteinů je spojená s jejich oligomerní strukturou, kterou je in vivo dominantně homo- nebo hetero- dimerní forma. 14‑3‑3 proteins regulate number of essential functions in eukaryotic organisms through binding to hundreds of proteins involved in cell cycle control and signalling pathways. The 14‑3‑3 functionality is influenced by the oligomeric state of the protein, which is dominantly homo- or hetero- dimer in vivo.
