Current trends in surgical treatment for glaucoma

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na problematiku chirurgické léčby glaukomu ve zdravotnickém zařízení Krajské zdravotní a.s. - Masarykovy nemocnice o.z. v Ústí nad Labem. Sleduje problematiku a specifika poskytování chirurgicko-oftalmologické péče ve zdravotnickém zařízení spolu se současnou situací v oblasti terapie glaukomů. Teoretická část se zabývá anatomií a fyziologií okohybného aparátu v obecné rovině, popisuje stavbu oka a dynamiku nitrooční tekutiny, definuje glaukom z pohledu patologie a patofyziologie spolu s diagnostikou a terapií, která je zaměřená na specifickou léčbu včetně specializovaných postupů chirurgického oboru - oftalmologie v nemocničním zařízení. Praktická část bakalářské práce formuluje problém, cíle a metodologii průzkumného šetření, které jsou zaměřeny na problematiku poskytování chirurgické péče v praxi. Hlavní cíl je zaměřen na sledování a hodnocení celkové úspěšnosti chirurgické léčby. Výsledky jsou následně přehledně rozebrány a zpracovány. Dosažené výsledky budou předloženy managementu Oční kliniky spolu s návrhem posteru se zaměřením na prevenci glaukomu pro Oční kliniku FZS UJEP Masarykovy nemocnice v Ústí nad Labem.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the issue of surgical treatment of glaucoma in the medical facility Krajské zdravotní a.s. - Masaryk Hospital o.z. in Ústí nad Labem. It monitors the issues and specifics of providing surgical-ophthalmological care in a medical facility together with the current situation in the field of glaucoma therapy. The theoretical part deals with the anatomy and physiology of the musculoskeletal system in general, describes the structure of the eye and the dynamics of intraocular fluid, defines glaucoma from the perspective of pathology and pathophysiology along with diagnostics and therapy, which is focused on specific treatment, including specialized surgical procedures - ophthalmology in hospital facilities. The practical part of the bachelor's thesis formulates the problem, goals and methodology of exploratory research, which are focused on the issue of providing surgical care in practice. The main goal is to monitor and evaluate the overall success of surgical treatment. The results are then clearly analyzed and processed. The achieved results will be presented to the management of the Eye Clinic together with a poster design focusing on glaucoma prevention for the Eye Clinic of the FZS UJEP Masaryk Hospital in Ústí nad Labem.
