Abstract:

Diplomová práce Genderová problematika ve virtuálním světě pojednává o problematice informační společnosti, virtuálního světa a především o problematice zabývající se informačními a komunikačními technologiemi. Teoretická část práce se zabývá popisem virtuálního světa a jeho jednotlivých kritérií, tématem informační společnosti a genderovou problematikou, včetně problémů, které se týkají žen a jejich působení ve virtuálním světě spojené s nejrůznějšími obtížemi. Z hlediska genderové problematiky se práce zaměřuje také na stereotypy, vzdělávání, socializaci, jazyk atd. Praktická část vychází z podrobné analýzy, která je založena na rozboru předem stanovených hypotéz. Tyto hypotézy jsem ověřila na základě analýzy dat z Informačního Systému Masarykovy univerzity a dále analýzy diskusního fóra kurzu Online¬_A . Cílem diplomové práce je poskytnout informace o genderové problematice v informační společnosti a především se zaměřit na zacházení této společnosti s muži a ženami v oblasti socializačního a edukačního procesu.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis Gender perspective in a Virtual world focuses on the issue of the information society and a virtual environment, especially those concerning the information and communication technologies in general. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the virtual world and its individual criteria, furthermore, it deals with information society and gender problems concerning women and their activities in the virtual world. Gender section includes the topic like gender stereotypes, gender education, socialisation and language. The practical part analyses individual gender stereotypes on the basis of the data from the Information System of the Masaryk University and on the basis of the discussion forum Online_A. The goal of the thesis is to share the information about gender problems in the information society and in the first place to focus on treating of men and women in the society within the socialisation and education process.
