Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na problematiku digitalizace zvukových dokumentů, přičemž je především řešena metadatová transformace těchto dokumentů v rámci workflow projektu Nový fonograf. Součástí práce je popis této problematiky spolu s dalšími aspekty a doporučeními, které je třeba v této oblasti brát v úvahu. Také je zde vysvětleno, co jsou to metadata, proč jsou v této souvislosti důležitá a jaké existují důležité standardy v oblasti kulturního dědictví. Závěrečná část práce se věnuje popisu a rozboru workflow Nového fonografu se zaměřením na průzkum metadat, která se během tohoto procesu vytváří a uchovávají.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis focuses on the issue of digitization of audio documents, while primarily addressing the metadata transformation of these documents within the workflow of the New Phonograph project. This work contains a description of this issue with other aspects and recommendations that must be taken into account in this area. It also explains what metadata is, why it is important in this context, and what important standards exist in the field of cultural heritage. The final part of the thesis is dedicated to the description and analysis of the workflow of the New Phonograph with a focus on the exploration of metadata that is created and stored during this process.
