Labour productivity dynamics and its determinants

Abstract:

The goal of the submitted thesis: “Labour productivity dynamics and its determinants“ is the evaluation of the dynamics of labour productivity at various levels of the national economy of the Czech Republic. Emphasis is gradually placed on the basic methods of measuring labour productivity and the factors that affect it. The dynamics of labour productivity is also evaluated using shift-share analysis, which can be described as a standard model for regional and sectoral analysis. At the end of the work, attention is paid to testing the convergence of labour productivity at the regional level.

Abstract:

Predmetom bakalárskej práce „Dynamika produktivity práce a jej determinanty“ je hodnotenie dynamiky produktivity práce na rôznych stupňoch národného hospodárstva Českej republiky. Dôraz sa postupne kladie na základné metódy merania produktivity práce a faktory, ktoré ju ovplyvňujú. Vývoj produktivity práce je zároveň hodnotený pomocou shift-share analýzy, ktorú je možné označiť ako štandardný model pre regionálnu a sektorovú analýzu. Na záver práce sa venuje pozornosť testovaniu konvergencie produktivity práce na regionálnej úrovni.
