Abstract:

Tato bakalářská diplomová práce se zabývá tématem přístupů k řešení konfliktů se studenty u učitelů středních škol. Cílem práce je zjistit, jak pedagogové středních škol vnímají konflikty se žáky. Co považují za jeho příčiny, jaké strategie vědomě používají k řešení konfliktů a také to, jak vnímají zapojení rodičů, kolegů a vedení školy do těchto řešení. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na definování konfliktů a specificky konfliktů ve školním prostředí, uvádím, proč je dobré se konflikty ve školním prostředí zabývat a krátce zmiňuji závěry několika studií provedených na toto téma. Dále pak konkrétněji nahlížím na vybrané charakteristiky ovlivňující konflikty ve školním prostředí a jejich dopady. Také konečně rozebírám specifika střední školy v kontextu konfliktů. Empirická část uvádí výsledky výzkumu s 8 učiteli, ve čtyřech následujících kapitolách. První kapitola se soustředí na vnímané příčiny konfliktu, za které učitelé považují pozdní příchod do hodiny, nezájem žáků, užívání mobilních telefonů, testování hranic tolerance učitele, vyrušování v hodině a nepřiměřenou náročnost učiva. V druhé kapitole se věnuji strategiím, které učitelé vědomě používají k řešení konfliktu se žáky. Jsou jimi strategie aktivizační a komunikační, trest a pasivní přístup. Ve třetí kapitole se dívám na to, jak pedagogové konflikt se žákem prožívají. Vnímání konfliktu posuzuji na základě postojů ke konfliktům, sebehodnocení přístupu učitelů a vnímaných překážek. V poslední čtvrté kapitole uvádím, jak učitelé vnímají zapojení dalších aktérů do řešení konfliktu se žáky, dalšími aktéry rozumím rodiče, kolegovy a vedení školy.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis addresses the topic of approaches to conflict resolution with students among secondary school teachers. The aim of the thesis is to find out how secondary school teachers perceive conflicts with students. What they consider to be its causes, what strategies they consciously use to resolve conflicts and also how they perceive the involvement of parents, colleagues and school management in these solutions. The theoretical part focuses on defining conflicts and specifically conflicts in the school environment, I state why it is good to deal with conflicts in the school environment and briefly mention the conclusions of several studies conducted on this topic. I then look more specifically at selected characteristics that influence conflict in the school environment and its effects. I also finally discuss the specifics of the high school in the context of conflict. The empirical part presents the results of the research with 8 teachers in the following four chapters. The first chapter focuses on the perceived causes of conflict, which the teachers consider to be late arrival to class, student disinterest, use of mobile phones, testing the limits of teacher tolerance, classroom distractions, and unreasonable difficulty of the material. In the second chapter, I discuss the strategies that teachers consciously use to resolve conflict with students. These strategies are activation and communication strategies, punishment and passive approach. In chapter three, I look at how teachers experience conflict with students. I assess perceptions of conflict based on attitudes towards conflict, self-assessment of teachers' attitudes and perceived barriers. In the fourth and final chapter, I consider how teachers perceive the involvement of other actors in resolving conflict with pupils; by other actors I mean parents, colleagues and school management.
