Coal age but just water now

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem těžby uhlí na Ostravsku od úplných počátků až po situaci, jak ji známe dnes. Cílem je vytvořit naučnou knihu, která se zabývá historií těžby v Ostravě, a seznámení čtenáře s dnešní situací těžebních dolů a možnostmi jejich využití. Projekt bude vytvořen formou prostorové knihy, jejíž hravost pomůže uchopit čtenáři jinak složité a odborné téma. Publikace bude připravena v elektronické podobě, aby mohla být vyřezána na řezacím plotru v případě, že postoupí do sériové výroby. Text bude doprovázen ilustracemi vytvořenými technikou linorytu.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the evolution of coal mining in the Ostrava region from the very beginning to the situation, as we know it today. The aim is to create an educational book that deals with the history of mining in Ostrava and acquainting the reader with the current situation and possibilities of mining down their use. The project will be created in the form of space books whose playfulness helps reader?s grasp otherwise complicated and technical theme. The publication will be available in electronic form so that it can be cut on a cutting plotter, if they go through to mass production. The text is accompanied by illustrations created linocut technique.
