The specifics of nursing care of a patient who professes Hinduism

Abstract:

Téma práce je zaměřena na aspekty v péči o indické obyvatele s hinduistickým vyznáním. Začátek teoretické části charakterizuje náboženství hinduismu, tak aby bylo možné pochopit jeho vliv v běžném životě a životním stylu, ke kterým je nutno při ošetřovatelské péči přihlížet. Nejpodstatnější kapitolou teoretické části práce je zmapovaný vývoj od narození až po přehled rituálů spojených se smrtí, pohřby a posmrtným životem. Tato část práce je podložena nejen odbornou literaturou, poznatky z výzkumné části, ale i vlastní zkušeností. Na teoretickou část navazuje výzkum, který proběhl formou kvalitativní metody ve výzkumném šetření. V závěru práce je navržena informační brožura s dostupnými informacemi, které mohou být využity pro zkvalitnění ošetřovatelské péče.

Abstract:

The topic of the thesis is focused on the aspects of care of the population with Hindu beliefs. The beginning of the theoretical part characterizes Hinduism religion so as to understand its influence in everyday life and lifestyle that must be taken into account in nursing care. The most important chapter of the theoretical part of the thesis is a mapped development from birth to an overview of the rituals associated with death, burial and posthumous life. This part of the thesis is based not only on professional literature, knowledge from the research part but also on my own experience. The theoretical part is followed by a research, which was carried out in the form of a qualitative method in a research survey. At the end of the thesis an information brochure with available information is proposed, which can be used for improvement of nursing care.
