Selected Czech Names of Medicinal Plants
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o názvech léčivých rostlin v českém jazyce. Práce porovnává názvy rostlin ve staré a nové češtině. Další část se zabývá etymologií těchto pojmenování. Uváděny jsou nářeční a lidová pojmenování rostlin, která jsou roztřídena do skupin. Součástí této práce je pojednání o způsobu užívání rostlin k léčebným účelům.
Abstract:
This thesis deals with names of medicinal plants in Czech language. The work compares expressions in old Czech and new Czech. The next part deals with etymology of these names. I state dialect variations and folk variations and I sort them to groups. The work also contains information about healling effects and the ways of using these plants by our ancestors.
