This thesis is aimed at the criminal procedure. It shows comprehensive and systematic view at courts of justice and their powers during the trial actions. Bakalárska práca je zameraná na právomoc a príslušnosť súdov v trestnom práve v podmienkach Slovenskej republiky. Rozoberá komplexný a systematický pohľad na prácu a povinnosti súdov v rámci trestného procesu. Predmetná bakalárska práca sa zameriava aj na právne normy a základné štádiá súdneho procesu.
