Population preparedness for a blackout emergency

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na připravenost obyvatelstva na mimořádnou událost typu blackout - rozsáhlý výpadek elektrické energie. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, na teoretickou část a praktickou část. V teoretické části se práce zaobírá blackouty v České republice a ve světě a také připraveností České republiky na tuto mimořádnou událost. Také je zde krátce vysvětlena historie elektřiny, nouzové přežití a základní potřeby. Jsou zde specifikovány možné důvody, které mohou vést k výpadku elektrické energie a také následky této mimořádné události. V praktické části práce se nachází dotazníkové šetření a analýza tohoto dotazníkového šetření. Cílem bakalářské práce je vyhodnocení míry připravenosti obyvatel ve vybraném regionu na mimořádnou událost typu blackout trvající několik dní.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on the preparedness of the population for an emergency such as blackout - a large power outage. The work is divided into two parts, a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part deals with blackouts in the Czech Republic and in the world, as well as the preparedness of the Czech Republic for this emergency. It also briefly explains the history of electricity, emergency survival and basic needs. It specifies the possible reasons that may lead to a power outage and also the consequences of this emergency. In the practical part of the work there is a questionnaire and analysis of this questionnaire survey. The goal of the bachelor's thesis is to evaluate the degree of preparedness of the population in the selected region for a blackout emergency lasting several days.
