Prevention and conflict solution at workplace in gastronomic services

Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem Řešení a předcházení konfliktů na pracovišti v prostředí pohostinství si klade za cíl určit, jaké jsou charakteristické rysy konfliktů na pracovišti v prostředí pohostinství. Skrze tento poznatek autorka stanovuje možná řešení a předcházení konfliktů na základě metod učení na pracovišti a mimo pracoviště, vsazených do konceptu Učení pro pracoviště (koncept Workplace learning). Teoretická část nabízí vhled do oblasti konfliktů, vysvětluje koncept Učení pro pracoviště, popisuje metody učení na pracovišti, a představuje čtenáři oblast pohostinství. Empirická část pak popisuje metodologii výzkumného šetření, představuje výsledky realizovaného kvalitativního šetření a navrhuje možná řešení a předcházení konfliktů v prostředí pohostinství.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis called Resolution and prevention of conflicts in the workplace in the gastronomic services aims to determine what are the characteristic features of conflicts in the workplace in the hospitality environment. Through this knowledge, the author identifies possible solutions and conflict prevention on the basis of workplace learning methods ongoing inside and outside workplace embedded in the concept of workplace learning. The thesis is divided into theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part offers an insight into the area of conflict, explains the concept of learning for the workplace and describes methods of learning in the workplace, and presents the area of hospitality to the reader. The empirical part describes the methodology of the research, presents the results of the qualitative research and suggests possible solutions and conflict prevention in the hospitality environment.
