Motivating the teaching of German language and fostering the desire to learn

Abstract:

The title of my bachelor degree thesis is: Motivating the teaching of German language and fostering the desire to learn. The objective of this thesis is to work out the teaching guidelines for students to be motivated enough to have the desire to learn. The thesis has been subdivided into three main parts- the practical part, in which I have explained notions like motivation, types of motivation, the desire to learn a foreign language, creativity and modes of creativity; the second part involves an empirical research conducted at an elementary school in Brno including a hypothesis and the outcome of the research and the third part deals with practical exercises related to the teaching of German language. In the attachment to my thesis one can find supplementary materials- clues to the exercises and as well as illustrations of questionnaires which were used for the empirical study.

Abstract:

Téma mé bakalářské práce nese název Motivace k výuce německého jazyka a podporování chuti učit se. Cílem práce je vypracovat návod pro výuku tak, aby byli žáci dostatečně motivováni k chuti se učit. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na tři hlavní části - praktickou část, ve které se věnuji vysvětlení pojmů, jako jsou motivace, druhy motivace, chuť k učení se cizímu jazyku, kreativita a její formy; druhá část zahrnuje empirický výzkum provedený na základní škole v Brně, včetně hypotézy a výsledku zkoumání a ve třetí části se nalézají praktická cvičení k výuce německého jazyka. V přílohách mojí bakalářské práce se nalézá doplňkový materiál - klíč ke cvičením a také ukázky dotazníků použitých k empirickému výzkumu.
