Anotácia:

Diplomová práce pojednává o schopnosti seniorů s poruchami sluchu saturovat své potřeby. Teoretická část uvádí čtenáře do problematiky stárnutí. Zprostředkovává objasnění klasifikace poruch sluchu a potřeb jedinců (seniorů), kde je mimojiné přiblížena kvalita života jedinců s poruchami sluchu, volnočasové aktivity a možnosti podpory seniorům s poruchami sluchu. V neposlední řadě je práce obohacena o rozpracování ošetřovatelského procesu ve všech fázích, který je podstatný pro moji budoucí profesi. Těžištěm diplomové práce je část empirická, která je zpracována na základě kvantitativního výzkumu zpracovaného metodou dotazníkového šetření. Zkoumaný vzorek tvoří laická veřejnost z Jihomoravského kraje. Cílem výzkumného šetření je zjistit, jak jsou schopni senioři s poruchou sluchu saturovat své potřeby a prokázat vliv poruchy sluchu na vnímání kvality vlastního života respondentů.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the ability of elderly people with impaired hearing to meet their needs. The theoretical part introduces the issue of ageing and provides clarification of the classification of hearing disorders and the needs of individuals (the elderly), where quality of life is affected for individuals with impaired hearing, and the leisure activities and support options available for seniors with hearing disorders. Finally, the work is enriched by an elaboration of the nursing process at all stages, which is essential for my future profession. The focus of the thesis is partly empirical, which is done on the basis of quantitative research of data from the questionnaires. The sample consists of the general public from the South Moravia region. The aim of the research investigation is to find out how seniors with hearing disorders are able to meet their needs and demonstrate the impact of the failure of hearing on the perception of quality of life of the respondents.
