Anotácia:

Cílem této práce je interdisciplinární prozkoumání současných poznatků týkajících se problematiky vůle a houževnatosti. Jejím obsahem je nejen definice těchto pojmů, ale také prozkoumání jejich vztahů s motivací, apatií a depresí. Součástí práce je také porovnání hlavních myšlenkových proudů dané oblasti, doplněné o poznatky ze řady studií zkoumajících biologické pozadí této problematiky. Poslední částí práce je sestavení programů a metod sloužících pro posílení schopnosti mobilizace síly vůle či houževnatosti daného jedince – dovednost, kterou autor považuje za naprosto klíčovou v komerčním prostředí.

Abstract:

The goal of this thesis is an interdisciplinary examination of current findings regarding the topic of willpower and tenacity. Its content is not only a definition of these terms, but also an examination of their relationships with motivation, apathy and depression. The work also includes a comparison of the leading scientific theories in the field, supplemented by findings from a number of studies investigating the biological background of the topic. The last part of the work is the compilation of programs and methods that can be used to strengthen the ability to activate the willpower or tenacity of a given individual – a skill that the author considers to be absolutely crucial in the commercial environment.
