Abstract:

Cílem mé bakalářské práce s názvem Motivace k založení a udržení YouTube kanálu je předložit pohled na to, z jakého důvodu si mladí Češi nad osmnáct let věku zakládají své YouTube kanály a sdílejí tak své životy a soukromí se širokou veřejností a co je vede k tomu tyto kanály i přes různé přínosy a překážky nadále udržovat. YouTube se stává novým fenoménem a zdrojem zábavy a inspirace pro děti, mládež i dospělé. Tato práce se však na rozdíl od jiných nezaměří na příjemce obsahu, ale na jejich tvůrce. Samotná práce se skládá z teoretické části, metodologické části, výzkumné části, diskuze a závěru. Teoretická část mé práce se věnuje vytyčení základních pojmů důležitých pro pochopení tématu. V metodologické části nalezneme popis vzorku a popis užitých technik. Výzkumná část obsahuje výzkumné otázky a podotázky a bude v ní nadále analyzováno dvanáct rozhovorů s tvůrci videí na české scéně. Tyto rozhovory jsou analyzovány metodou tématické analýzy. Podle výsledků tématické analýzy se dá soudit, že autoři videa natáčejí hlavně z určitého vnitřního pobavení, či tvůrčí činnosti. Existuje však mnoho dalších faktorů, které celou tvorbu ovlivňují. Tyto faktory rozebírá diskuze, která přináší pohled na celý problém a to jak na základě výpovědí, tak srovnání s odbornou literaturou. V závěrečné části bude prostor i pro limity výzkumu a případné návrhy pro budoucí badatele. V příloze mé práce bude k nahlédnutí veškerý sesbíraný materiál, tedy anonymizované rozhovory s dvanácti tvůrci YouTube videí.

Abstract:

The aim of my bachelor thesis, called “Motivation for making and keeping own Youtube channel” is to give an insight into why young Czech people above the age of eighteen are establishing their own YouTube channels and why they are sharing their lives and privacy with the general public. What leads them to keep these channels despite many various obstacles and benefits. YouTube has become a new phenomenon and mainly a source of entertainment and inspiration among children, teenagers and adults. However, this work, unlike others, does not focus on content recipients, but on their creators. The work itself consists of a theoretical part, a methodological part, research part, a discussion and a conclusion. The theoretical part is devoted to the definition of basic concepts important for the understanding of the main topic. In the methodological part we will find a description of the sample and a description of the techniques used. In the research sections we will find research questions and sub-questions and that will be further analyzed by 12 discussions with video makers from the Czech scene. These interviews are analyzed by thematic analysis method. According to the result of the thematic analysis, it is possible to say, that the main reason, why YouTubers act on YouTube is for certain inner amusement and to have some creative activity. These and other factors are discuss in the discussion that will take a look on the whole issue by the comparison with literature and collected responses. In the final part there will be space for research limits and possible proposals for future researchers. All of my collected material, meaning interviews with 12 YouTube video makers, will be placed at the end of this thesis.
