Endo/exo/phosphatase in Leishmania
Abstract:
The aim of the thesis is to determine the localization of the EEP1 protein (LmxM.33.2220) in Leishmania mexicana. The protein was tagged at the C-terminus with a V5 tag and expressed from both endogenous and exogenous loci. Western blotting and fluorescent microscopy was used to analyze the transgenic strains. Cílem této diplomiové práce bylo zjistit lokalizaci EEP1 proteinu (LmxM.33.2220) v modelovém organismu Leishmania mexicana. Protein byl označen na svém C-konci pomocí V5 tagu a exprimován jak endogenně, tak exogenně. Transgenní kmen byl analyzován pomocí Western blotu a fluorescenční mikroskopie.
