Abstract:

Nedoslýchavost je neviditelné stigmatizující chronické onemocnění multifaktoriálního původu. V jakémkoli věku má obrovský dopad na mezilidskou komunikaci, psychosociální pohodu, kvalitu života a ekonomickou nezávislost. Výskyt nedoslýchavosti se zvyšuje nejen stárnutím populace, ale také díky metodám vyšetřujících sluch, které jsou čím dál více dostupnější a které umí nedoslýchavost odhalit již v útlém věku. Cílem této bakalářské práce je formou rešerše literatury zjistit, zda existuje vztah mezi nedoslýchavostí a vybranými sociodemografickými determinanty u populace v produktivním věku, tedy 18-65 let. Zkoumanými sociodemografickými faktory, ovlivňující ztrátu sluchu, byly v této bakalářské práci, pohlaví, rasová příslušnost, země, dosažené vzdělání a příjem. Rešerší zahraniční literatury bylo zjištěno, že respondenti s vyšším dosaženým vzděláním (středoškolské a vyšší) mají menší pravděpodobnost poškození sluchu než osoby se vzděláním nižším. Dále se ukázalo, že při ztrátě sluchu existují rozdíly mezi muži a ženami, a to i přes to, že celkově je hrubá anatomie hlemýždě mužů prakticky k nerozeznání od žen. Co se týče spojení mezi ztrátou sluchu a rasou/etnickou příslušností, tak bylo prokázáno, že pravděpodobnost ztráty sluchu je u osob negroidní rasy podstatně nižší než u jedinců rasy europoidní a že je možné spojení mezi ztrátou sluchu a kožním pigmentem obecně. Dalším ze zkoumaných faktorů při ztrátě sluchu bylo studium geografických rozdílů mezi výskytem nedoslýchavosti.

Abstract:

Hearing loss is an invisible stigmatizing chronic disease of multifactorial origin. At any age, it has a huge impact on interpersonal communication, psychosocial well-being, quality of life and economic independence. The incidence of hearing loss is increasing not only with the aging of the population, but also thanks to hearing examination methods, which are becoming more and more accessible and which can detect hearing loss at an early age. The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to search the literature in the form of whether there is a relationship between hearing loss and selected socio-demographic determinants in the working age population, ie 18-65 years. The socio-demographic factors influencing hearing loss examined in this bachelor's thesis were gender, race, country, educational attainment and income. A search of foreign literature revealed that respondents with higher education (secondary and higher) are less likely to have hearing damage than people with lower education. Furthermore, it turned out that there are differences between men and women in hearing loss, despite the fact that, overall, the gross anatomy of the male snail is virtually indistinguishable from women.. Regarding the link between hearing loss and race / ethnicity, it has been shown that the probability of hearing loss is lower in the negroid race of a lower person than in individuals of the europoid race and that a link between hearing loss and skin pigment in general is possible. Another of the factors examined in hearing loss was the study of geographical differences between the incidence of hearing loss.
