German Culture and Literature in Spiš in the 19th Century - Carpathian German literature in the works of Rudolf Weber
Abstract:
This thesis discuss German literature and culture in the Spiš region in the 19th century. In particular, it focuses on the Carpathian German author Rudolf Weber, who wrote in Spiš dialects. Two of his works were selected and discussed. The work also focuses on the overall picture of the Carpathian Germans in Slovakia, from the beginning of their settlement to the present.
Abstract:
Diplomová práca predstavuje nemeckú literatúru a kultúru na Spiši v 19. storočí. Konkrétne sa zameriava na karpatskonemeckého autora Rudolfa Webera, ktorý tvoril práve v spišskom nárečí. Z jeho tvorby boli vybrané a rozobrané dve diela. Práca sa tiež zameriava na celkový obraz karpatských Nemcov na Slovensku, od počiatku ich osídlovania až po súčasnosť.
