V našej bakalárskej práci sa snažíme v časovom slede priblížiť a podrobnejšie opísať priebeh najzávažnejších hospodárskych kríz 19. a 20. storočia. Podrobnejšie sa venujeme Veľkej hospodárskej kríze, jej príčinám, vzniku a priebehu, pretože podľa nášho názoru je v mnohom porovnateľná so súčasnou ekonomickou krízou.
