Use of myostimulation and physicacal therapy in the treatment of posttraumatic knee joints and knee arthritis disorders.

Abstract:

Téma mé bakalářské práce je využití myostimulačního účinku fyzikální terapie v léčbě poúrazových a artrotických poruch kolenního kloubu. Moje bakalářská práce je rozdělena na dvě části: na část teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část obsahuje obecné poznatky o anatomii a biomechanice kolenního kloubu, dále v ní informuji čtenáře o poúrazových poruchách kolenního kloubu a gonartróze. Poté se v teoretické části zabývám fyzikální terapií, převážně moystimulačním účinkem a elektrogymnastikou. V praktické části mé bakalářské práce porovnávám dvě skupiny pacientů: stimulovanou a nestimulovanou skupinu pacientů. Každou skupinu tvoří deset pacientů s různými poúrazovými poruchami kolenního kloubu a gonartrózou. Ve stimulované skupině pacientů je převládající diagnóza léze LCA a v nestimulované skupině pacientů je stejný počet pacientů s gonartrózou jako s lézí LCA(4 a 4 pacienti).

Abstract:

The topic of my bachelor´s thesis is the use of myostimulation and physicacal therapy in the treatment of post-traumatic knee joint and knee arthritis disorders. My bachelor´s thesis is divided into two parts: a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part consists of general knowledge about the anatomy and biomechanics of the knee joint and about post-traumatic disorders of the knee and the gonarthrosis. Then I deal with the physicacal therapy, mainly with the myostimulation effect.and electrogymnastics. I compare two groups of patiens in the practical part: a stimulated and a non-stimulated group of patients. There are ten patients in each group with various post-traumatic knee joint disorders and the gonarthrosis. A dominant diagnosis in the stimulated group is the LCA lesion and there is the same number of the gonartrosis and LCA lesions in the non-stimulated group (4 and 4 patients).
