Abstract:

Alexandra Kostúrová Title of the thesis work: Intensive care nursing staff burnout syndrome Workplace: Masaryk University Faculty of Medicine Department of Nursing Dissertation work facilitator: PhDr. Marie Zítková Year of defense of thesis work: 2014 Summary Diploma thesis is focused on burnout syndrome of nurses working in intensive care. It consists of theoretical and empirical part. Main sections of the theoretical part are the chapters which discuss the definition of burnout syndrome, reasons of occurrence, specific risks of intensive care working environment, burnout syndrome symptoms, its phases, prevention and treatment possibilities. In the empirical part we identified the most substantial stressors in intensive care as well as the high-risk groups of nurses in intensive care in which the burnout syndrome is likely to occur. Our intention was to address this highly actual topic and to show the work specifics of nurses in intensive care. The survey was realized by means of an anonymous questionnaire. We focused on risk of occurrence of the burnout syndrome in intensive care nursing staff.

Alexandra Kostúrová Názov diplomovej práce: Syndróm vyhorenia u sestier pracujúcich na jednotkách intenzívnej starostlivosti Pracovisko: Masarykova Univerzita Lekárska fakulta Katedra ošetrovateľstva Vedúci práce: PhDr. Marie Zítková Rok obhajoby diplomovej práce: 2014 Súhrn Diplomová práca je zameraná na syndróm vyhorenia u sestier pracujúcich v oblasti intenzívnej starostlivosti. Obsahovo je rozdelená na teoretickú a empirickú časť. Teoretická časť je delená na jednotlivé kapitoly, obsahujúce definíciu burnout syndrómu, príčiny vzniku burnout syndrómu, špecifické riziká pracovného prostredia v intenzívnej starostlivosti, príznaky burnout syndrómu, fázy, prevenciu a možnosti liečby burnout syndrómu. V empirickej časti sme identifikovali najvýznamnejšie rizikové faktory, sociálne determinanty hrajúce úlohu pri vzniku burnout syndrómu. Ako ciele práce sme si stanovili priblížiť problematiku tejto v súčasnosti vysoko aktuálnej témy a poukázať na špecifiká práce sestier v intenzívnej starostlivosti. Naplnenie cieľov sme realizovali prostredníctvom kvantitatívneho prieskumného šetrenia dotazníkom anonymného charakteru. Zameriavali sme sa na zistenie rizika výskytu syndrómu vyhorenia u sestier pracujúcich na jednotkách intenzívnej starostlivosti.
