Demographic analysis of region Strážnicko

Abstract:

Závěrečná práce „Demografická analýza regionu Strážnicko“ má za úkol zhodnotit současnou situaci regionu Strážnicko dle vybraných ukazatelů demografické dynamiky a struktury v období 2010–2019. Pro rozvoj jednotlivých obcí i sledovaného regionu je znalost vývoje těchto ukazatelů stěžejní. Hlavním cílem práce je tedy komplexní demografická analýza regionu Strážnicko a predikce budoucího demografického vývoje na období 5 let. Předpověď může značným způsobem pozitivně ovlivnit řešení otázek chodu obcí a regionu. Mezi použité metody patří analýza časových řad, vybrané indikátory demografické dynamiky a struktury a kohortně-komponentní metoda bez migrace. Predikovaný demografický vývoj regionu vykazuje v roce 2024 značný pokles hrubé míry přirozeného přírůstku téměř o 3 ‰. Jedná se tedy o přirozený úbytek obyvatelstva, který bude dle predikce dosahovat hodnoty -4,57 ‰. Naopak k nárůstu hodnot by mělo dojít v roce 2024 u hrubé míry migračního salda, který bude činit téměř 1,26 ‰. Z důvodu neustálého nárůstu hodnot indexu stáří i v budoucnosti, se předpokládá, že bude obyvatelstvo i nadále stárnout. Region potřebuje pro omlazení obyvatelstva přilákat do regionu mladé lidi. Byla by vhodná investice do zařízení a projektů, jako jsou školní a mimoškolní instituce, které by toto stěhování nastartovaly.

Abstract:

The main task of this thesis, “Demographic analysis of region Strážnicko“ is to evaluate the current situation of the Strážnicko region according to selected indicators of demographic dynamics and structure between 2010¬and 2019. Knowledge of progression of these indicators is key for the development of municipalities and the region. The main target of this thesis is the complex demographic analysis of the Strážnicko region and the prediction of future demographic progression for the next 5 years. The prediction can have a significant and positive impact on the solution to the operational challenges facing municipalities and the region. The used methods include time series analysis, selected indicators of demographic dynamics and structure, and the cohort-component method without migration. Predicted demographic progression of region shows a lower gross rate of natural increase of 3 ‰ in 2024. So, it is a natural decrease of population, which will reach the predicted value of -4,57 ‰. On the contrary, the increase in value of gross migration balance, should be about 1,26 ‰ in 2024. Because of the constant increase in values of the aging index in the future, it is assumed that the population will continue to age. The region has a need for a rejuvenation of the population to attract young people. For that purpose, it would be appropriate to invest into projects and institutions like school and out-of-school establishments.
