Aftercare options for patients with apallic syndrome in geriatrics

Abstract:

Diplomová práce zjišťovala možnosti následné péče u nemocných s apalickým syndromem v geriatrii. V teoretické části jsme charakterizovali apalický syndrom. Dále jsme se zajímali o možnosti státní sociální podpory nemocných s apalickým syndromem, o druhy sociální péče, o úhrady za poskytnutí sociálních služeb, o příspěvky z oblasti sociální péče, o prostředky hrazené zdravotní pojišťovnou, o nadace, o sponzory a o způsoby hrazení péče v nemocničním zařízeních. Součástí práce jsou výsledky anonymního dotazníkového šetření, kde jsme se zabývali nejen znalostmi a zkušenostmi všeobecných sester s péčí o pacienty s apalickým syndromem, ale také možnostmi přípravy rodin na domácí ošetřování a spolupráci jednotlivých zdravotnických zařízeních s ADP. V závěru práce jsou prezentovány návrhy na řešení problematických oblastí. Výsledky by mohly být použity k lepší prezentaci péče o nemocné s apalickým syndromem nejen ve zdravotnických zařízeních, ale také k zamyšlení nad sjednocením zdravotních a sociálních služeb a k rozvoji spolupráce zdravotnických zařízeních, agentur domácí péče a rodinné péče.

Abstract:

This thesis investigated the possibility of following care for patients with apalic syndrome in geriatrics. In the theoretical part, we characterized the apalic syndrome. Furthermore, we were interested in the possibility of state social support for patients with apalic syndrome, types of social care, payment for the provision of social services, for contributions in the field of social welfare funds paid by health insurance, the foundation, sponsors and the methods of payment for care in the hospital devices. Part of this work are the results of an anonymous questionnaire, where we dealt with not only the knowledge and experience of nurses caring for patients with apalic syndrome, but also the possibility of preparing families for home care and collaboration among the various health facilities with home care agencies. In the conclusion of this work are presented proposals for solving problem areas. The results could be used to better care for better presentation for patients with apalic syndrome not only in health care but also to think about the unification of health and social services and develop cooperation of healthcare facilities, home care agencies and family care.
