Social work through the eyes of the employees out of social work in Ústecký region

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce si klade za cíl zjistit, jak veřejnost, reprezentovaná vzorkem zaměstnanců, kteří nepracují v oblasti sociální práce, vnímá sociální práci. Chce získat odpovědi na základní otázku "Co je to sociální práce?". Současně se zabývá také osobní zkušeností se sociální prací. V práci jsou zmíněny definice, cíle a poslání sociální práce, její historie, sociální práce jako věda a praxe, výkon sociální práce skrze sociální služby prostřednictvím sociálního pracovníka. Dále se uvádí vnímání sociální práce veřejností a její mediální obraz. V kapitole Setkání se sociální prací jsou popsány oblasti působnosti, cílové skupiny a klient sociální práce. Výzkumná část je založena na získání dat prostřednictvím interview s respondenty z Ústeckého kraje. Závěr je věnován zhodnocení zjištěných výsledků.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis aims to determine how the public, represented by the sample of employees who do not work in the field of social work, social work is perceived. It wants to get answers to the basic question, "What is social work?". Current is also concerned with personal experience with social work. There are also mentioned definition, aims of social work, history, social work as a science and practice of social work through social services through a social worker. Next shows the perception of social work by the public and its media image. In the chapter The meeting with social work are described fields of competence, target groups and the clients of social work. Research is based on data acquisition through interviews with respondents from Usti Region. The conclusion is devoted to the evaluation of the results.
