Effect of cardiac rehabilitation in patients with chronic ischemic heart disease regard to the presence of diabetes mellitus

Abstract:

Cílem této práce bylo posoudit vliv dvanáctitýdenního kombinovaného tréninku na hodnoty antropometrické (hmotnost, BMI), na hodnoty tlaku a srdeční frekvence při zátěži (TKdSL, TKsSL, SFSL) a na kardiorespirační zdatnost a výkonnost u pacientů s chronickou ischemickou chorobou srdeční a diabetem 2. typu (DM, n = 18) a bez diabetu (NDM, n = 67). Kombinovaný trénink (aerobně-silový) probíhal třikrát týdně po dobu 60 minut. Hodnoty hmotnosti a BMI se u souboru DM snížily, u souboru NDM zvýšily. U obou souborů došlo k adaptaci SFSL na zátěž. Kardiovaskulární trénink zvýšil hodnoty parametrů zátěžové kapacity u obou souborů, toto zvýšení bylo významnější v souboru NDM ve srovnání se souborem DM.

Abstract:

The aim of this study was to assess the effect of twelve-weeks combined training on anthropometric parameters (weight, BMI), on blood pressure and heart rate during exercise (TKdSL, TKsSL, SFSL) and cardiorespiratory fitness and performance in patients with chronic ischemic heart disease and type 2 diabetes (DM, n = 18) and without diabetes (NDM, n = 67). Combined training (aerobic-strength) was realized three times a week for 60 minutes. Weight and BMI decreased in the DM group, in the NDM group increased. In both groups there was SFSL adaptation to the training. Exercise capacity parameters increased in both groups, this increase was signifikant in the NDM group as compared with the DM group.
