Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá teorií a uchopením absurdity a absurdního dramatu v divadle a ve filmu, dále pak jeho možným užitím v jednotlivých složkách filmové tvorby. Seznamuje nás s tvůrcem řecké ,,divné“ nové vlny Yorgosem Lanthimosem, jeho filmografií a kontextem tvorby řecké ,,divné“ nové vlny. Následně jsou předchozí poznatky z teorie absurdity aplikovány na dílčích filmových složkách jednotlivých filmů Yorgose Lanthimose a zkoumají tvorbu absurdity pomocí filmové řeči. Konkrétně na snímcích Špičák (2009), Humr (2015) a Favoritka (2018).

Abstract:

Master thesis deals with the theory and understanding of absurdity and absurd drama in theater and cinematography, also its possible use in individual components of filmmaking as well. Master thesis introduces us with the creator of Greek „weird“ new wave Yorgos Lanthimos, his filmography and the context of the creation of the Greek „weird“ new wave. Furhermore, previous findings from theory of absurdity are applied to partial film components of individual films by Yorgos Lanthimos and examine the creation of absurdity using film speech, specifically in the film Dogtooth (2009), The Lobster (2015) and The Favourite (2018).
