The Current Financial Crisis - reasons, status and possibilities of overcoming

Abstract:

V roce 2008 ve Spojených státech amerických naplno propukla zatím nejvážnější finanční krize v dějinách. Tato krize se vzhledem ke globálnosti finančních trhů velmi rychle přenesla do celého světa a dala za vznik nejvážnější hospodářské krizi od dob Velké hospodářské deprese z 20. let minulého století. To, co z počátku vypadalo jako mírný nárůst počtu nesplácených hypoték, se vyvinulo v obrovskou finanční krizi, která se stala osudnou pro mnoho velmi významných institucí s více než stoletou historií. Tato diplomová práce je primárně rozdělena do tří kapitol. První kapitola diplomové práce popisuje teoretická východiska finančních krizí obecně. Druhá část se zabývá příčinami, průběhem a následky krize, jsou zde popsány a analyzovány skutečnosti vedoucí k vypuknutí krize. Závěrečná třetí část se věnuje přístupům řešení finanční krize ve Spojených státech amerických vládní administrativou a Federálním rezervním systémem.

Abstract:

In 2008 in the United States of America fully erupted yet the most serious financial crisis in history. This crisis is due to the globality of the financial markets quickly transferred around the world and the foundation for the gravest economic crisis since the Great Depression of 20 of the last century. What looked like the beginning of a slight rise in mortgage defaults, has evolved into a huge financial crisis, which became fatal for many very important institutions with more than a hundred years of history. This thesis is primarily divided into three chapters. The first chapter of the thesis describes the theoretical background of financial crisis in general. The second part deals with the causes, course and consequences of the crisis, are described and analyzed the facts leading to the outbreak of the crisis. The final third part deals with approaches to dealing with the financial crisis in the United States government's administration and the Federal Reserve System.
