Usage of electronic payment instruments in the Czech republic

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá elektronickými platebními prostředky. V teoretické části práce se seznámíme s jednotlivými prostředky a povíme si o jejich výhodách, účelu a způsobu fungování. Tento teoretický základ tvoří podklad pro analytickou část. Jejím základem byl dotazník o 306 respondentech, který měl za účel zjistit míru a účel využití jednotlivých platebních prostředků na území ČR. Zároveň zjišťuje i vzájemné preference jejich používání. Ve výsledcích došlo mimo jiné i ke zjištění existence nepřímé závislosti počtu uživatel mobilního bankovnictví na uživatelích internetového bankovnictví. Závěrečná část práce se pokouší přiblížit do budoucna nastupující trendy a novinky týkající se elektronické platby.

Abstract:

This bachelor tesis deals with the topic of electronic payment instruments. In theoretical part of the thesis we will get acquainted with individual instruments, their advantages, purpose and the way they funciton. This theoretical basis creates background for analytical part. It was based on a questionnaire of 306 respondents, which aimed to determine purpose and the rate of utilization of individual means of payment in the Czech republic. Simultaneously it finds mutual preferences of their use. In the results, among other things, we find out that there is an indirect dependence of the number of mobile banking users on internet banking users. Final part of the thesis tries to introduce future trends and news related to electronic payment.
