Modern Labeling Adhesives - Properties and Modification Options

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou lepidel vhodných k etiketování skleněných lahví a obalů v potravinářském průmyslu, jejich aplikací a parametry, které tato lepidla vykazují. Teoretická část práce je zaměřena na komplexní rešerši dané problematiky, počínaje rozdělením používaných lepidel v obalovém průmyslu, základy teorie lepení a chování lepidel při nanášení, až po jejich vlastnosti a parametry, které jsou běžně uváděny v technických listech. V praktické části bylo připraveno několik vzorků lepidel pro zmíněnou aplikaci s rozdílným složením, u kterých byly následně měřeny klíčové parametry a vlastnosti. Nejdůležitější vlastnosti jako viskozita, odolnost vůči kondenzační vodě, odolnost lepidla v přímém kontaktu s ledovou vodou a také přilnavost čerstvého lepidla byly porovnány s reálnými lepidly používanými v praxi.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of adhesives suitable for labelling glass bottles and packaging in the food industry, their applications, and the parameters that these adhesives exhibit. The theoretical part of the work is focused on a comprehensive search of the issue, starting with the distribution of adhesives used in the packaging industry, the basics of bonding theory and adhesive behavior during application to their properties and parameters that are commonly listed in technical sheets. In the practical part, several samples of adhesives were prepared for the mentioned application with different composition, for which key parameters and properties were subsequently measured. The most important properties such as viscosity, resistance to condensation water, resistance of the adhesive in direct contact with ice water and also the adhesion of fresh adhesive were compared with real adhesives used in practice.
